Has anyone (women) decided to pack 1 outfit/color?

I don't pack one color - but I pack one color scheme. I either go greys or browns for bottoms. That seriously reduces the amount of shoes and it makes it easier for any top to go with any bottom. I get a lot of flexibility with fewer pieces. I only take one purse and two pairs of shoes. I don't bring makeup and I use the toiletries in the hotels. All of the clothes that I travel with are smushable and don't wrinkle.

No make-up? You brave, brave gal. THAT's not ever going to happen for me but oh how I admire others that can do it. We don't get toiletries replenished at DVC so I must buy/bring them. Two pair of sneakers always - maybe one pair of sandals/better 'flip flops" for the pool.

And I saw it in theatre four times when it was first released so I could drool over Harrison Ford.... hey I was 13, don't judge me. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

And then there was Hardware Wars...You'll laugh. You'll cry. You'll kiss 3 bucks goodbye!

I was 11. My mother and brother desperately wanted to see it at the drive-in. My father and I hated it. I brought a book to read.

I only wear black and navy in my everyday life. I do have prints in black and navy to mix it up, but all pants and shorts are black and navy. Someone years ago told me they wear self tanner as foundation with some mascara and lipgloss and thats what I still wear and I am almost

I used to pick blk/brown or blue bottoms ( shorts/Capri/pants/skort etc)
And then choose long sleeve shotsleve sweaters etc in a color or two and have lots of mix n match outfits. A lot of combinations with minimal ant of clothes and effort.
However, after moving South:love:
I Live in dresses 90 percent of the time... life is good, and easy!

I am unwilling to subject innocent people to the sight of my blinding white legs.

Same. Not to mention how quickly my legs would burn to a crisp, even with sunscreen.

Oh heck yes! Ever burn the back of your knees - not wanting to repeat that any time soon! Or my scalp or the tops of my feet. So careful everywhere else.

I think you left off part of your answer :rolleyes1

We tend toward the same/similar color bottoms but a variety of colors of top so it doesn't feel as monotonous. As long as the colours go together okay, you can still layer without having to worry about what you threw in your bag or what hoodie smells too rank to throw on a second day. Black, grey, 14 shades of blue, add in a purple or green...I've lasted for 3 months with that before for an extended work trip. And, let's be honest: at Disney, who's paying that much attention to what you wear?

This is a great thread, I hope I can learn from it! I don't think I'll ever get minimal about my footwear. My feet need to be happy. I'll probably have two pairs of sneakers, 2 or 3 pairs of flip-flops, and my Disney Crocs. I'm a no make-up girl so I'm minimal there. I'll take one purse (Vera Bradley hipster) for the parks and one purse (Vera Bradley mini-hipster) for dinners. It's the clothing I can really cut down on, but why is that so hard to do?

We are ever so thankful to the laundry gods for having machines in our room.

I can easily get away with one pair of non sneakers at Disney World. This changes for other vacations/business travel. Always two pairs of sneakers. The monsoons of Central Florida need a full 36 hours to dry.

This will be my first WDW trip, so I've been slowly accumulating clothes and shoes to pack. I have some active capris in black, khaki and blue and will wear those with Disney tank tops. I also got some 32 degree cooling camisoles from Costco that I will wear under them. For shoes, I have a pair of sneakers, flip flops and Teva sandals. I've been rotating all of them to get them broken in before we go. I've never been a make up girl, so don't have to worry about that. I have diamond studs that I'll wear the whole time and that'll be my only jewelry, aside from the magic band and my fit bit. I have a Vera Bradley cross body purse that I probably won't use very much, but it's my every day bag, so it'll be with me.

I'm planning on bringing sundresses on my upcoming trip. It's a lot easier for me to pack 7 casual dresses that I know I'll be comfortable in and still look cute for pictures. I do however bring a couple pairs of bike shorts to wear underneath for coverage and protection against chafing. I'm bringing my Chacos and my Birkenstocks for footwear. As for makeup, I'll wear a light cc cream and that's about it. I set aside time the day we arrive to our resort (after spending the day at the parks) to go to the laundry room and put all my clothes in the dryer to unwrinkle them. Once the initial dry cycle is done, everything gets hung up in our room and I'm ready for our vacation. :D

I used my Vera Bradley cross body bag last year and it was almost too big for my taste. I'm switching over to a mini hipster instead and I hope it'll be just right. I hope your trip is magical!
