Has anyone used the Passport plus?

Had a few questions about it...

The free parking that is included, is it in any lot? Was it worthwhile?

Also, where is the free breakfast? Could you order anything you want or was it a set menu? Also, does it have to be used for breakfast food or by a particular time, (i.e. or could it be used for lunch?)

Was the fastpass option very helpful for you? (This was the main reason I wanted to get it.)

Also, did you have to sign the back of the ticket when you first went in?

Did you receive from AAA the actual ticket or did you have to wait in line to exchange it for a ticket at the park? (don't want to have to wait in line at the park)

Thanks,
Jenn

JenniferW,
We just used the Passport Plus pass on our recent visit 11-18April... (In my family--we have DH, myself and DS-14)
My sister used a Premium AP, so we decided to compare experiences....(In her family, she has herself, her DH and DD-8, DD-4). My sister didn't really feel like she needed the plus passport option.

I think the ages of the children is a big factor. First of all, her kids were not as interested in the thrill rides. The majority of the rides they went on were in Fantasy Land (where there are no FPes, anyway). My sister found that by getting there at opening, they could ride on a lot of rides. The new Winnie the Pooh ride has a fast pass, but my sister found that you could walk right onto the ride several times from the standby line, if you got there right after the park opened (later on, however, the standby lines for Winnie the Pooh were really loooong). Some other factors: Space Mountain is closed (for 2 years). My sister also discovered several rides that issue FPes at DL were not linked. (I think she said the unlinked rides were HM, Pirates, Small World and Star Tours). What that means is the FP machines at the unlinked rides are not tied into the main computer and you can get FPes at those rides independently of any other FPes you hold even if you are not using a plus passport. Also, the Star Tours FP machine was giving out a bonus FP for "Honey, I shrunk the Audience". (The unlinked rides change--HM and IASW become linked at Christmas time and a CM told me sometimes Star Tours is linked and sometimes it is not).

Over at the California Adventure, CMs were handing out show tickets for Aladdin and Millionaire. You didn't really need a FP for Muppets. The really hot FP ticket was Soaring (the Soaring FP machine was issueing a bonus FP for It's Tough to Be a Bug) and Screaming (and Mullhulland Madness). The weather was kind of cold, so we didn't go on Grizzly River Rapids, but I suspect the standby line wasn't very long for that one.

With a 14 year old, we found maybe a couple of occassions where we were glad to have the Plus passport. But, the first day we used our tickets at DL (Sunday April 13th), we arrived at the park really early and we went around collecting FPes--when we went back to use the passes, for the most part the standby lines weren't that long. On the 18th of April (Friday), it was really, really crowded--having multiple FPes for the thrill rides was really handy.

I ordered my plus passport from Disney Travel Co (and it was the actual ticket).

We used one breakfast voucher at Buzzes (at DL) and we were delighted to find that we could use the other vouchers towards our breakfast at the Story Teller Cafe (at the Grand CA).
-DC :)

I used them in Feb. (President's week) and they were a real time saver...I grabbed all our tickets and I collecting fastpasses while the others took a break or even ate breakfast....We then made the rounds using the fastpasses.

How does the breakfast voucher work? Can you get anything off the menu? Does it have to be only breakfast food?

I'm also using these for the first time this summer and I have been reading up on them on other sites. It seems that you can use these vouchers toward practically any meal because its a voucher with a set amount. I read a couple threads saying they used them at different counter-service restaurants in the park at different times and for lunch and even towards character meals. Maybe some that has been can confirm. HTH ;)

and yes, we were able to use the Club Buzz vouchers for lunches and snacks at ClubBuzz. Just make sure your order is up to the $8.75 voucher limit.
