Has anyone used Safeway to deliver their groceries to DVC?

Considering using Safeway to deliver groceries on our trip. Does anyone have experience with them delivering groceries to Resorts?

Wow I was totally unaware that Safeway was in Florida. Huh.

Their SoCal counterpart Von's delivers to Disneyland resorts, and WDW does accept deliveries (though I read about a new $5 fee), so as long as their delivery range includes Orlando I can't see why not.

Many grocery stores are starting to use a third party service to deliver, Publix is in Florida. The prices are inflated compared to self shopping and there may be an additional membership fee. At WDW if the service isn't a Disney business partner, the guest must meet the service when delivering and the service can not leave the order with bell services. The $5 fee mentioned is due to guests ordering from amazon and other stores and having the orders shipped.

im sorry to overtake this post but I have been trying to get answers ab0out this fee!! Is it confirmed?? And is it for amazon prime or garden grocer? Both or neither? I just dont understand! When we were there in Sept, we ordered amazon prime and had water, sodas, juices, etc and if we had to pay 5 a bag it would be astronomical!!

I believe the fee is for shipped packages. They can only be held at resorts with convention centers. That's where the $5 comes into play. I don't think there's any fee for grocery delivery to the resort. I don't see why it matters WHO is delivering the food. Bell services should be able to hold them. Confirm with the resort directly first.

I think I read that the $5 fee is for packages that are delivered & picked up thru the front desk - and yes, it's confirmed and official for those. It doesn't currently apply to grocery deliveries that are being taken to Bell Services.

There is one Safeway location in Central Florida which is located in Altamonte Springs (about 22 miles from WDW). It's a former Albertson's which was rebranded to Safeway when the two companies merged.

I thought "didn't I write that?" but when I checked I guess I didn't. I did go to check it out when answering but didn't have a nearby zip code to enter to go further. I swear I mentioned that location. Weird!
