Has anyone used Priceline or Hotwire for hotel within walking distance to DL?

Priceline's map of the Disney area is about 5miles across,we won't have a car so I don't want to be that far away.I have used Pricline and Hotwire before and been very satisfied.Any tips to better my chances of getting as close as possible? TIA

Go to this website. I got a bunch on information there and just used Priceline for the first time yesterday. I chose a 3 star and for $46 got the Hilton Towers. On the 3 star, there are some listed that aren't walking distance, but I do believe they have shuttle service. You should look into to that, though.

There is no way to garentee that you will get a hotel within walking distance. But most if not all the hotels within the Disneyland Zone will have free shuttles.

A lot of the hotels around DL use the Anaheim Shuttle that costs $3 per day per person.
