Has anyone used Mears Transportation before?

Disney told me to make a reservation through Mears to get from the orlando train station to the Disney resort. It will cost my family $126 roundtrip, which doesnt' seem too bad, but do you tip them besides the 126 or is that all I would pay? And is this like a shuttle, we will be a group of 7 or will we have to ride seperate. Thanks for any info.

Not to knock Mears, they are a good company. The $125 roundtrip from the railway station is way to much to pay for transportation. That sounds like a limousine. An SUV or van will hold your family. A taxi meter wouldn't even chalk up that much. There are several car services on the boards mentioned that if you called them you would find transportation roundtrip for around $80.00 to $100.00 to Disney from the railway station.

Disney contracts through Mears for shuttles, and through Star Taxi for town cars and limousines. So, the price was probably a shuttle price.

I'd follow Edd's advice and look at a towncar type service instead.

Make sure you request a baby seat for the 2 year old. You need an SUV or Van for your family. Not a town car.
