Has anyone used Budget out of TPA?

Flying in and out of TPA in Oct. I have been checking all the rental companies and trying different codes. Many codes have blackout dates for our return trip (Columbus Day weekend), but I found a good rate with Budget. At least, I think it's good: $232.52 total for a full size, 9 days. So has anyone had experience renting from Budget at TPA? And does this sound like a good rate? TIA

We used Budget after flying into Tampa last Dec. We reserved the car through Priceline which caused a slight delay. I waited for the luggage while my husband went to get the car and it took just a little longer to get the car than to get the luggage. It was an easy walk to pick up the car. The spots are all marked by number, you just walk up to the car with the key and drive away. Dropping the car off, only took about 5-10 minutes. The car was okay although it made some funny noises in the brakes and was missing the antennae. We didn't have any trouble with it. If we had checked the car over before leaving the airport, we probably would have noticed both problems. It ran fine and was clean. My husband thinks we paid about $15 or $16 per day and rented it for 12 days. Let me know if you have any other questions. Debby

Rented from Dollar out of TPA. Had no problems except they did not have a car ready in the class which I booked (intermed.). They offered me a choice: wait, upgrade for a small increase, or take a compact at a low rate (~$105/wk.) I took the compact and had no regrets. Return was easy.

Thanks, TOOK, but Dollar has blackout dates in effect for our return trip, so I can't get any discounts. They are much more than Budget.
