Has anyone used an e-ticket?

We have a discount program through work and I just noticed they have a park hopper "e-ticket" listed... would be convenient not to worry about pickup/shipping, but don't want to run into any difficulties. Thoughts?

If it's an official Disneyland e-ticket with a barcode, you won't have problems. You'll just go straight to the turnstiles (no need to go to the ticket booth) and they will exchange if for a smaller ticket right there instantly.

My husband gets discount ticket through his employer. It prints out but we still need do take to ticket booth to get actual tickets before getting into the park. So this might be a disadvantage might not. It worked for us. This was the first week in Feb and during the week,so maybe that helped. We got to parks early before open and walked right up to ticket booth only took a few minutes to redeem and lined up for entry. It was worth it for us.

I would actually like an e-Ticket rather than having someone give me the real thing - I can always print out another e-Ticket if I lost the real one before getting there!!

I would also much rather print out an e-ticket as opposed to have someone mail it to me. There have been complaints of having issues at the main gates trying to scan the tickets and add names. If you're arriving the day before you go into the parks, I would suggest dropping by the ticket booths (open until the parks close) to exchange your e-tickets and enjoy a nice meal at DTD before heading back to the hotel.
