has anyone used a photographer on holiday

Our family are meeting up in Orlando in a few weeks - 14 of us - we live in different countries - UK, Italy and the Cayman Islands - So this will be a one off for my MIL to have all her family together at the same time. This holiday is her treat to us - So I was thinking that as a thank you we could book a photographer to do some shots of us all together.

The problem is that I don't know of any that work outside the parks and also we only have 4 days were the cayman lot will be with us and one of those is a sunday. And I also know its short notice but the Cayman group have only just been able to confirm which days they can come for

Dose anyone have any recommendations for us.

You can go through Disney Event Photography which are pretty awesome, so I'm told - http://www.disneyeventphotography.com/. When I've spoken to them in the past, they've given the impression they can take bookings at quite short notice.

We, personally, didn't like the style of the DEP photos, so we've booked an independent photographer to do a five hour shoot in the parks with us. She's pretty fab - and is recommended really highly! She also does resort shoots and shoots around Florida. Must admit some lovely work there compared to DEP if I had some kids would def book that up really nice natural well composed images

Try Randy Chapman - he did our Disney Vow Renewal and does amazing work. He works in the parks and on the resorts etc. He is very reasonable too!!!

Go for Randy Chapman. He did amazing shots if our wedding in 2006 and just had a family photo shoot in May at AoA. Great guy not expensive was around $200 for more than 500 shots. Images on digital with copyright release. Highly recommend. Find him on Facebook
