Has anyone used a color copy of Passport to pick up Cnd tickets?

I am arriving in Orlando a week before my DH and kids. I would love to be able to go Disney Springs during this time provide our passport information to verify our Canadian tickets. Otherwise, we will need to attend Guest Services at MK on our first park day - which I would REALLY rather not do. Has anyone tried used a photocopy of their passport?

I know of a couple of families who had tried to do the same thing you are trying to do but unfortunately they both got turned away. I only know of one family that got away with it. I think that is a hit and miss. I would rather take the passports and avoid any delays in getting your tickets.

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately they will be needing their passports in order to travel to Orlando ☹️

I'd say try it. The worst that can happen is that you'd have to go again when they arrived with their passports, but you'd have to do that anyway, right? And maybe you'll get lucky. If you have the time to spare that week, why not? Try the guest services location at Disney Springs, grab dinner, do some shopping, and even if the answer is no the trip wouldn't be a waste. :-)

We are going to Disney Springs the day of arrival and not waste a park ticket. We will validate our tickets then and take our passports, especially seeing the children don't have a DL. Taking a passport into the park on the day of entry, I'd be more worried doing that.

If you end up in that situation and are worried about carrying the passport around all day, grab a locker as you enter MK. Your passport will be safely locked up as you enjoy the park, then you can grab it again on your way out. We often use lockers for long park days to stow our lunch and warmer clothing for chilly evenings. The smaller lockers are pretty reasonable for some peace of mind.
