Has anyone used a Brita Stainless Steel Filtering Water Bottle at a Disney park before? If so, did it significantly improve the taste of the free water at Disney parks? If you fill it up with ice before you go, how long did the ice last? Can you put packet of liquid IV or Gatorade in it or are you not supposed to do that since it will come through the filter? Its going to be very hot when we go to Orlando in a few weeks so I'm trying to decide if I'm going to buy a 20 ounce Brita Stainless Steel Filtering Water bottle or save $5 and just buy a regular Stainless Steel water bottle instead.

Yes that's all we use, it definilty improves the tast of the water. Don't put any additives in the bottle it will mess up the filter.

The ice lasts quite a while and since it's filtered you can always fill it up with ice at the various carts.

I've used one for years and love it! Yes, it completely removes the "Florida" taste from the water. Don't use liquid IV or gatorade in if since it goes through the filter. Ice will last most of the day if you refill with cold water.

The only con is the are slightly heavier but worth it in my opinion.

Yes it removes the sulfur taste from the public water. As @reddog21 and @momto3jboys you don't want to add anything even if it sounds like a good idea. You can use a collapsible cup or even a paper cup from QS with ice. Then add your packets after the water is filtered if you must.

I would not recommend Gatorade or Liquid IV if you are just walking around vs heavy exercise or strenuous outdoor work. Just lots of stops to hydrate in the Florida heat and humidity.

Never used the stainless bottles but have used the plastic ones. They were great at filtering out the sulfur taste. I could never understand why people would buy cases of bottled water when they could get a filter bottle that could be used over and over. Don't add anything to the water, just get some salt tablets to take. Wish they had the stainless steel bottles back in the day.
