Has anyone tried stitching on paper yet? I have a couple questions (m)

I got this card kit from Greetings and More last month and I am dying to make this cute thank you note in the kit. But it requires stitching on paper and I have never done that. Wondering if I need to buy a special needle or could I use one of my needlepoint needles? Second, do I just poke holes with the needle or do I use a special tool? Any other tips would be greatly appreciated!

it is very easy just go slow at first until you get the hang of it. not much different than sewing. Do scrap paper first.

Just time and patience (neither of which I have lately - lol!)

Thanks for the tips ladies... I finished it. The only thing I did was prepierce my holes. Made it much easier to push the needle through. I even scanned it so you can see it...
