I thought I would make this a new thread because I see so many people looking for things. I joined a group called Freecycle (http://freecycle.org/) and it has been very helpful to me in many ways. I give things away and people come to pick them up (no driving to Good Will). I am in need of something and I post what I am looking for, sometimes I get replies and sometimes I don't. But today I got a 6 shelf upright deep freezer for FREEEEEEEEE and all I had to do was post that I was looking for one. If you're looking for strollers, scrapbooking stuff, vases, plants, animals, car parts, the list is never ending. Try to find a group in your area, it's a great way to recycle for FREE. Good luck to those looking for things they need and or want.

It has been a great site for me, i have gotten a printer, tent, smoker, refrigerator, Christmas Deer decorations, packing supplies, and a dishwasher. I also have given away some things i no longer need or cant use like free fair and water park tickets. It has been great!

Never heard of craiglist, but I'm on my way to try it out!

Just joined Freecycle about a week or two ago, and just two days ago we GOT A PARROT!

Yeah, love the free stuff!

I've been doing feecycle for about a year now. I think it's a wonderful way to give away things you no longer need. I've been able to find a home for lots of my old things. I've also found some good stuff for myself.
