Eurostar re-branded their travel classes in September to Standard / Standard Premier & Business Premier. On the Disney route it used to be Standard & Castle class, last time we travelled it was in Standard, this time we have booked what was Castle class which I guess is now Standard Premier.

Has anybody travelled in Standard Premier on the Disney route since it has been re-branded, I have read some reviews and it doesn't sound very good.

Thanks

Kelly

We always travel Leisure Select but not any more. Haven't experience Standard Premier but reading the reviews seems to imply that you lose the decent meal options that LS gave you. Probably no longer worth the upgrade price?

I found this on the Eurostar site. It looks a bit disappointing after the hot meal we used to get with Leisure Select :sad2: and of course the fares won't have gone down accordingly! :rotfl:

I'm just waiting to book Eurostar for our next trip and am wavering a bit over which class to book. We've always gone Leisure Select in the past as I used to think that was good value but now i'm not so sure. Trouble is, it's a special trip so ....... decisions decisions LOL

It would be nice to hear some feedback from someone who's experienced the meal since it's changed. :)

Kelly ~ aside from the meal it does make for a very peaceful, relaxing journey as the carriages have always been half-empty when we've travelled, even though we've gone in main school holidays.

And you get the all important cabin staff making sure that the train doesn't depart whilst you are half way through unloading your family and luggage at Ashford :thumbsup2

We booked it earlier in the year before we knew the classes were changing and we still haven't been told we are no longer travelling in Castle Class/leisure select. I have checked the trains on Eurostars website and it looks like it is more or less full in standard premier on our train on 6th Dec.

It would be nice to hear any experiences of the new service.

We're travelling in Standard Premier in 3 weeks so will report back on our return.

Exactly what my DH just said ~ and at least you know there's plenty of room for your luggage.
