Has anyone traveling from South Jersey used Cape May Lewis Ferry to get to WDW?

DH thinks he wants to try it. We would leave on the 7:30 AM ferry on a Saturday morning. Our first night at Disney is Sunday.

Any opinions on the drive? We start out in Cape May.

I'd think the CBBT was a bigger concern (traffic, possible delays, construction??) than the ferry. Ferry sounds like fun. So you are going the scenic route this time? ;-)

Yes....Lewes, I think he also wants Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel.

This will definitely add extra time to your trip, but if you like the scenic route, go for it. Not sure what day of the week you plan to go, but Saturday is the big check in/checkout day for houses/condos in Rehobeth/Ocean City area and you could major traffic depending on when you arrive in Lewes (if going on a Saturday). Have fun!!

This is most helpful....we are leaving Cape May on Saturday. I think we'll do our usual trip.
