Has anyone taken the Segway Tour at Epcot?

Has anyone taken the Segway Tour. My family did it this past summer in Toronto and it was a blast! Where does the tour go and how much does it cost? We'll be staying at SSR in April.

We did the Segway tour last September and it was a blast. You spend about half an hour to 45 minutes in a training room to learn how to maneuver the Segway and then they take you to world showcase (before it opens) were you spend some time touring and some time just being able to ride around in a certain area.

We were very lucky as our group was small (only 4 of us). So I think the training part took less time.

Our family took the tour last Oct and it was the highlight of the trip! I think the cost was around $68 per person after our Disney Visa discount.

My DH and I took it May 2004 (I think), and we highly recommend it. We also had the Disney Visa discount, but I'm sure the price has gone up since '04. It was definitely one of the highlights of our many trips!

We did it Dec. of '04 and had a blast! I want to do it again. The best part is when you get up to the middle of WS and they let you "loose". Don't forget, there is a discount on this one. I have to admit I can't remember if it was an AP discount or DVC, but one of those gave us a discount on it.

In October 2005! DH & I loved it!!! The cost is $80 (incl. tax) on the Disney Website. When you call to book the tour...You just have to do it!!...Ask if there are any discounts, ie. DVC, AP, Disney Visa card, and take the best deal! It was worth every penny and DH and I have talked about doing it again. They told us that they are designing a new, "off-road" Segway tour in Epcot, but it doesn't exist yet.

By the way, one word of caution...Since we did this my DH (a 52 year old big kid) has been looking for a used one!!! It was that cool!!

One more "thumbs up" for the Segway tour. Took it by myself within its first month, and loved it. Going back tomorrow (!!!!) for a week, and I've booked it again. Also taking a foreign exchange student with us this time, so she'll take the tour too. It probably just makes me "a geek", but I had a blast.

We did it the first week of January and love, love, LOVED it! We were married in the Italy Pavilion and they helped us take the Segways up on the platform in the middle of the pavilion to get our picture taken on our Segway with our nerdy helmets at the wedding site. It was awesome.

We were told they're creating the off-roading tour at Fort Wilderness, where you'll have a lot more freedom to roam. As soon as it's available, we'll be there!!!

And we also loved the Segway tour. That's DH's favorite. If they do one at WL we'll be all over it!
