Has anyone taken the online NYIP course?

I'm considering it and was wondering what you thought of the course - the assignments, information given, etc? Also, the information sent said they send a press pass. Does that really work to get into press only areas? That certainly wouldn't be a deal breaker as to whether I decide to take the class. Just curious.
