I'm looking for info. They said I chould submit several pieces. How many is too few and how many is too much? Do they want me to submit selling prices as well? Is it like a dissertation where I have to defend it or will I just drop it off and go back for it later?
TIA!

I hope this helps. One of my bosses is an artist......

How many pieces of artwork (btw, what kind is it?) do you have? Just call the gallery and ASK them how many they are interested in/can handle. You want to photgraph your work (for your safety in case anything happens to your stuff). You also need to ask the gallery how much their percentage is and then calculate your price for each piece to ensure that when a piece is sold, they take their cut, send you a check - that you have covered the cost of your supplies AND have made a profit that you can be happy with! You also just need to ask them how long they will have your work.

Don't be afraid to ask questions. Don't be intimidated, either. They are not doing you a FAVOR for which you need to fall over in gratitude! This is a business transaction which should be treated professionally. If you have more questions, ask away!
