I love Disney resorts so much that I figured I might as well stay at the Disney Hilton Head next time I go to South Carolina. I'm looking to just hang out at the resort for a few days. I have heard that the main house and the beach house at HH have several daily activities, such as, Big Banana Cruise, Beachside Trailride, Dolphin Discoveries, Sunset Kayaking, Campfires and the Unbirthday Party. Does anyone know what kind of charges there are for these activities? Are any of them free to resort guest? I like to plan everything in advance and would like to figure out what my family and I can fit in the budget. Do these activities require advance reservarations? Any advice about the resort will also be appreciated. :confused3
Thanks

Hop over to the DVC part of the board and you'll get lots of answers. It is beautiful and peaceful there with some of the best CM's Disney has. Many activities are free, some small fee and some pricey (Dolphin Watch). DD loved the juggling class and the unbirthday. Unfortunately, we were there during Hurricaine season and had to evacuate prior to our scheduled check out. Make sure to take time for the hidden mickey hunt!

Disney Hilton Head was actually our introduction (many moons ago!) to DVC...went down one February and paid $99 a night for a 2 bedroom villa. Loved it from the beginning and then bought at OKW in 2000. I enjoy HH the most when it is off season and we have been really lukcy with great weather both in March (last year) and December/january (the year before). I have to admit that HH in the summer time isn't for me...lots of congestion(cars and people). The resort itself at Disney HH is really nice but I do not have much to offer in terms of advice about activities EXCEPT to say, by all means, RENT BIKES!!!!!! That's our favorite thing to do (other than shop and eat!).
