Has Anyone Slept Four Adults In A Studio at SSR

We decided on SSR. I emailed them all pictures. I told them to pick. My aunt with the sharp eye says let's stick with SSR because tha vanity is outside the bathroom. What important information!

Interesting! You gave them the choice, have a great time!

My family of four...DH, 2 teenage DS's and I... have stayed at SSR in studios twice within a year. Both vacations averaged 8 or so days. The pullouts were the new mattresses and double size. One DS is about 5'11" and maybe 180 lbs and his brother is about 5'7" and weighs maybe 150lbs. They said that the bed was comfortable enough for them. Once open the room is pretty crowded but when you close to a couch there's plenty of room. 1BR are really great...love the separate bedroom and washer and dryer but points do add up quickly especially on the weekends. I think you'll do fine with the studio...just have a great time!

Last January my DW and I along with another couple who are members stayed in a Studio at SSR for the EE preview weekend. We were only there for 2 nights (Fri and Sat) and it was very tight. It is a couple that we get along with very well so we didn't mind all that much. However I am not sure how it would have been if we were there a whole week or more. I think what it boils down too is how comfortable the 4 of you are with each other. I would pick OKW over the other resorts if I needed to have 4 adults in a studio since you can get 2 beds instead of the pull out. We would have done OKW for that weekend but DW and I talked our friends into SSR since DW and I were ready to buy and we wanted to see the resort. Plus with 4 adults, walking back from the AC at 12AM was a breeze! :drinking1

4 women in a studio that you know and get along with wouldn't be a problem. I would probably check to see if one would be willing to sleep on an air mattress or camp cot. They also need to be women who control their stuff well. I spent this week with a 17 year old that I had to speak to about keeping her stuff in one spot rather than all over the floor...in front of my suitcase.

Either way, except for OKW, you have to put the sofa bed up and you only have one bathroom. That's why I'd consider opting for a unit with internal hallways (BWV, BCV, VWL). It'd be possible to get to a back up bathroom in reasonable time if your need wasn't urgent. First floor VWL is probably the best for this trick. SSR would be okay if you are near a pool like in the Congress Park area.

We (4 adults all family) stayed at BCV in a two BDR for 1 week one time and decided we needed one more night as we met up with others.

The only room they had available was a studio. We stayed the night in the studio I will never do that again.

But then again my wife refuses to stay in anything less then a 1BDR with just her, me, and our little one.

Well I haven't done it yet...but in 4 more days we will be in WDW. We have on studio for me, DH and DD. The other we have DS, DSgirlfriend, DMom and DDad. I know that we won't have any problems in our room. As for the other room...I guess they should be happy that they get a free trip to WDW. :rotfl2: But all kidding aside, I think that they will be just fine. My parents will have the bed and the "kids" will have the sofa sleeper. We are only going to be there for 4 nights anyhow and won't be in the rooms that much. When I booked the trip my parents weren't going. It was a last minute Christmas present for them. They only had to pay for their airfare. And they knew that they would be sharing a studio with their grandson and his girlfriend and they didn't have a problem with it. Must come from having 6 kids of their own. And when we moved for my dad's new job we started off in a one bedroom apartment for a few weeks, we were all young kids at the time though. So closeness for my parents isn't a problem. :rotfl:

Good luck!!!
