I keep hearing comments like "It's the best Pixar film ever!", which I find amazing given that Pixar have already made classics such as "Finding Nemo" and "Toy Story 2".

Is it definately worth going to the cinema to see it?

I would appreciate any comments :)

Ive not seen it yet, but I think we'll take the girls during the half term break.
When I first saw it advertised I wasnt too sure about it, but after going to WDW in April and saw some of the animation and the making of it, I ve changed my mind and Im looking forward to seeing it.

i saw it sunday and i have to say i was very impressed. it was very funny, and the animation just keeps getting better! some of it is just so real!
as for being the bes ever, well that down to your own personal opinion i guess - my all time fave was finding nemo and my worst pixar was toy story 2 with everything else coming roughly in the middle!... all depends what you like i guess...

We saw it in Florida and thought it was the worse Pixar film we'd seen. Even DS (10) and DD (9) weren't impressed and don't want to see it again here

well that just proves my point above that everyone is different! lol
minniemouseuk, just go c the film and make up ur own mind! ;) :)

we enjoyed it

I went to see it and i wouldent say its the best Pixar film but its funny , the only downside to it is that is 2 HOURS LONG !! lol
still go and see it its good

I saw it in August *and thought it was funny and well scripted and of course technically perfect as you expect, it wasn't as funny as Toy story or Monsters inc, but there is a story there and a bit of a love story, and I like the little detective person who is a bit like the policeman after the pink panther in those films and the best character the Restaurant critic who can destroy any restaurant, being the biggest fan. Worth a watch.

* PS not pirate, but on the day of release on the Disney Magic also saw Underdog not out here yet.

I loved it, DH was inbetween. It's not a comedy, it's a very grown up movie in some ways.
The animation is absolutely jaw-dropping. The characters are memorable and Remy is adorable.

Well, looks like one of those films that opinion is mixed, so I guess I'll have to go and see it.

Thanks! :)

not yet I am soooo hoping it will be out when its my boys birthday on the 18th November. I seriously doubt it will. I can only hope!

There's a video podcast in the itunes store with the trailers, teasers etc.

Having said that I can't seem to open any of the episodes.

I saw it yesterday, it was OK, not the best pixar but as someone else said the restaurant critic was a very good character.

DD found it a bit long and although I enjoyed it I wouldn't say it was anywhere close to being my Fav Pixar. The characters were good but I'm not a big fan of rats which didn't help ;)

We are off to see it this afternoon :goodvibes

I'm going to get it in Florida when it is released on DVD in November:thumbsup2

I liked it, Remy is so cute. Not my favourite Disney/Pixar movie but close to it.

saw it this afternoon, kids liked it, youngest wriggled a bit, was too long definately, I thought it was ok but i didn't love it, the animation was top quality though.
