Has anyone scraped there trips in a Smashbook?

I would like to do a smashbook and scrap my photos of my Universal vacation., Any ideas how I should do this? Should I do it day-day or by theme area sectons? I would like to incorporate a trip journal with it.
Any ideas on how to do this? If you have can you post your photos of your book.
