Has anyone RECENTLY received the 40% off code?

My parents just signed up for the Disney websites, ordered the dvd, etc... I know that there's no guarantee they'll receive the code, but I was wondering if anyone has received the code recently? They want to go to Disney with us this year, but only if they get the deal. TIA!

Maybe your parents could take advantage of the free park hopper/water park option instead. We received the code but we could not get any decent flight prices so we booked for late April and got the water park/hopper free. It saved us more than the room discount would've. You have to book it before Feb 18 though.

If you booked with the code, you should be able to book another room for your parents with your code. I've heard you can book up to 3 rooms with your code (although you may have to try more than one reservation agent.)

My work colleague received the email and he is going in August.
Something to keep in mind is the fact that allthough it says in the email "to be used for Value Resorts", you can actually use it for any hotel class.My friend booked Wilderness lodge for $130 discount off of the room rate.

I got the mailed code this week, in fact it was Tuesday. Today is Friday and I have already booked 26 nights in Sept/Oct.
As for someone who has never been to WDW getting a code: highly unlikely.
I have been going to WDW since 1976 and this is the first code I have ever received.

I recieved the 40 percent code for different weeks this year, however we were already booked off site in May, and the code is not valid for my time. Can I give it to someone else too use. I hate to see it go to waste and it doesn't look like it would matter who uses it , its not very formal looking? Have any idea or has anyone else done this?

The code cannot be transferred. (at least that's the official line)

Some people who ordered the vacation planning package but never actually booked anything.. have received codes in the past. But it's unlikely (never say never of course) they would get one in the next 60 to 90 days.
