Has anyone recently gone to TOTW just to see the fireworks?

We went up to the viewing area in December to watch the Christmas fireworks. There was a line at the podium, but they didn't request any information other than confirmation of our membership. We would not have been allowed into the lounge, there was someone at that door checking reservations. However there was plenty of room outside and we had no issues going up about 30 min early. Just BYOB

Same situation here for us in December. We were staying at BLT but didn't attend any events other than did a quick stop up earlier that evening, sat at the bar and had drinks and apps. We just went to the podium about 20 to 30 minutes before the holiday fireworks and were put on the elevator to the top to hang outside and watch the holiday fireworks.
