My DF wants an engraved tungsten ring. I'm having a hard time finding what he wants but they have them on ebay. Has anyone gotten their rings on ebay?? I'm getting concerned since i'm a 1 mth 1/2 out

I didn't purchase one on ebay but I did sell one on Ebay! Dh was married before and I made sure that ring was long gone before we were engaged! :)

Just make sure he knows the exact ring-size as you can't alter tungsten. I don't think you should have any problems. Good luck and congrats!

I would just make sure you check the seller's feedback. See if he has ever sold other jewelry before or that he is honest to all the buyers. Feedback is so important!!! If they have good feedback then it should be ok to go ahead and buy it. I have never had a problem with Ebay sellers when they have excellent feedback.

We bought DH's through an ebay store (it was called Ashely's Fine Jewelry, I think). We were careful to sort through the feedback, like above poster mentioned. The ring turned out great, and when we had an issue with it a few months later, they sent us a new ring gratis (It was a silver ring with a blue band running through the middle. A few weeks after the wedding, the blue part snapped off. Turns out you weren't supposed to wear it in hot tubs, as that part is fragile. Since they never told us that, they gave us another ring and we've had no problems since!).

GL!

I didn't purchase his ring on ebay but I did purchase his ring from titaniumera.com

And it is engraved and he loves it. I don't think it took more then a week to get to me.

With my help my now son-in-law purchased my daughters wedding set on e-bay. She now wears a stunning 1ct center stone with 1 ctw surrounding stones. (We had the ring appraised right away after he recieved it-- can never be to careful). He paid about 15% of what the ring would cost in a jewelry store. He did pay with cc via pay-pal. We were very careful and I am sure very lucky it was a real diamond and an honest seller.

I know some ppl will say oh it is an old used diamond but at the end of the day they are all Old diamonds tech speaking. You could also have the diamond reset. My daughter just happened to love the setting. I am sure of one thing Diamonds last forever and unless handing down from generation to generation "used" diamonds will be used to make "New" jewlery for years to come.

I do not recommend this to everyone but in this case it worked very nice.

Oh, I forgot to mention they carry the tungsten rings. I bought a ring from them five years ago and then I bought one from them a month ago. They are pretty inexpensive and nice to work with. (not affiliated with them) I just really like what they offer. Good luck.

I've been gone for awhile, but I thought I'd pop in since this thread is realatively recent.

We bought both my simple 3mm white gold band and my DH's tungstun band of of ebay. And if anything had gotten fouled up, we weren't too worried because they were so inexpensive. I would be so much more nervous getting a diamond off of ebay. Or a computer.

DH took care of this, so I don't know who the seller's were or anything but the advice on here is great. Check feedback. Make sure you get the right size b/c tungsten can't be resized. Good Luck!
