Has anyone purchased iron ons from topironons.com to make their own shirts for Disney? We are going in Dec and I wanted a Mickey Christmas shirt but haven't found one I like and then I came across this website with iron ons and was thinking of making my own shirt. I wanted to see how hard they are to do and if they work good.

If anyone knows of another site that is better that they have used please let me know.

Thanks

Haven't purchased from that site, but we make our own shirts for most trips. We usually go to the Creative Disigns board here and choose designs, which the wonderful ladies and gentlemen customize for free. You then purchase iron on transfer paper (target, walmart) and it's very easy to do.

I order iron ons from Etsy. There are tons of sellers and you can either get a digital file and buy your own iron on paper or get a normal iron on by mail.

Which sellers on Etsy do you like the best? It sounds like it would be cheaper to just buy one then buy the paper and the ink for the printer.

Thanks for your help.

Not be rude, but I am just curious...why would you pay someone for the digital file when people on here will do them for free?

I'm new to the creative part of this forum. There are many threads and rules about asking I haven't been able to sort them all out yet. It is a lot to go through. I guess I just need to take some time to go through everything. I would love to be able to get them for free. People on this forum are very talented.

No worries, I was just wondering. It does take a while to go through and pick them out, but I have found those people over there to be very accomadating and have made some wonderful shirts for our trips! :thumbsup2

I used gigglestogo on etsy and liked her work, but free is even better. I didn't even know about that part of the forum.

FYI. The people on Etsy are stealing the disigns created here by wonderful designers who give of their free time and share with Disney lovers like us.

If you can find the time, please go to the Creative Designs thread and look to your heart's content and use one of these disigns. The people on Etsy are breaking the law and can be sued by Disney for selling copyrighted material. Getting them free off of this site does not violate the copyright laws as does selling them and profitting from them.

Some of my favorite disigners that have many, many to choose from are Rustmanfan, Milliepie, and Bababear.

You can buy the best transfer paper around at Amymickey.com. She provides excellent directions and they hold up better and last longer than those bought at Michaels, Walmart, Target, etc.

I second using amymickey.com - I am ordering for the second time from her and have been happy with her transfer paper. I was surprised how well the shirts looked even after being washed! I am making more shirts for this trip!
