Has Anyone Made A Book From MyPublisher.com?

I got an invite from a friend to make a photo album through www.mypublisher.com I used our pictures from January's vacation to WDW to make a book. I'm really happy with it. I'd compare it to a souvenir that you can get at WDW (the paperback ones that have some of the highlights), only it's smaller. You get to pick the cover. I did red and black checks. Mine is about 40 pages long and I put at least two pictures on each page. They cost about $20. They are a great alternative to scrapbooks. If you get invited from someone who has made a book, you can get a $20 coupon, that is where the budget part comes in because it's really cheap then. You can also do a bigger book too. Anyone seen these?

Yes. We made one for our trip in 2002. It really worked out nice. The software interface was a bit "clunky" but the actual books turned out great. We printed a couple of copies, which really dropped the per unit cost. Remember, the quality of the pictures are only as good as the camera.

I just received my paperback book, and I was very pleased so I ordered a hardcover one also. I have an invite if anyone else needs it. Just PM me. The paperback books are on sale for $9.95, so I guess you could get two free on your first order.

I made one of my DD's first year including pics of her in the hospital that I'm giving to my parents for Grandparent's Day. The books make great gifts. I got mine free with a code that was posted here:

I wonder how anyone gets credit for following that other link? As as far as I can tell the coupons are all the same, but you only get credit if you follow the link in an email. I didn't know you could use the coupons over again. It doesn't take very long to get the email at all, though. I was going to put a code here, but it won't work because I have to send you an email.

You can use code FREEPB915, which expires 9/15 to get a free 20 page softcover book with up to 80 photos, with free shipping. I did this with pictures of my DD's first year and it came out great.

Does anyone know when the invite expires? My next trip isn't until Oct (this year), and I'd love to do this with the pix I take while on this trip. If I ask for an invite now, will it still be good at the end of Oct?

I just made one a couple of nights ago, but haven't received it yet. I can't wait to see how it turns out! BTW, if you are registered at mypublisher, how do you send someone an invite? I have looked and looked because I wanted to send my sister an invite, but I can't figure out how.

when you buy a book they give you a link to send the invite in your shipping confirmation e-mail - check there - if you want me to send her one I will but I am sure you want the referral bonus for yourself and I am not sure how I could give it to you once I got it!

How does this work? Do you upload pictures from a digital camera? Do yo then go through page by page, decide what phot to put on the page, and write captions and pick backgrounds? My trip is in December - would the coupon still work then? Also, the web site said that the hard cover is only on sale for a couple more weeks.

You have to download a program. I used both digital and uploaded pictures. The program will highlight in red any picture that is not good enough quality for the book. You decide where the pictures go and the caption. You can pick one or two sided and up to four pictures on a page.
