Has anyone in Toronto been able to find the iPhone 4?

Earlier tonight I went to the Bell store at the Promenade Mall to make sure that I will be able to get the iPhone 4, however the Bell rep told me it's virtually sold out all across Toronto with Bell and it might take at least a month before they will get anymore in. I also went to see if they had any at the Rogers store there and they had a sign saying it was sold out. So I am wondering has anyone else found it hard trying to get the new iPhone in the Toronto area?

A friend of mine got one in Guelph a few weeks ago. She apparently stood in line for an hour to get it and teh store only got 10 that day.

a friend of mine lucked out and happened upon 1 in orangeville. personally i would check smaller towns around you if any are close. i think people arent as obsessed with the newest tech gadget in smmaller towns.

Today I went to the Bell store close to my house and put my name on a list for new arrivals of the 32G iPhone 4 when that location gets them in, so it's just a matter of time until that happens.

They also said the reason for the limited supply at the Bell stores in the Toronto area is they did not get enough in. At the location I went there I was told all they got was a couple and that was it.

A friend of mine who lives in Toronto waited a week to see if he could get one at a store in Toronto, and after not having much luck, ordered one straight from Apple. It took about 2 weeks to arrive. So ordering from them might be the easiest and quickest way to get the new iphone.

I think it's a lot more expensive to order from Apple.

Correct. Apple only sells unlocked phones online. Bell takes online orders. It's likely the simplest although not the quickest way to get one.

Being a Bell activation partner (perviously Rogers,) we got 6x16gb day one, then 3 days later 1x32gb, then we have been getting 12x16gb every couple of days and have received 2 shipments of 6x32gb models. Steady supply but limited in qty. All iPhones have arrived unlocked, they only become locked when the SIM is inserted and activated.
