Has anyone here heard that Disney World will be entirely removing FP+ soon?

I have read somewhere on another site that Disney will be removing FP+ entirely soon and almost had a heart attack.

Has anyone else read this on a certain site? Can you please give me a link to detail about this? I am really concerned.

And if this is really true will they put back regular Fastpasses or what?

I wonder what they will do. Does anyone also know why they are doing this as well?

I would find it hard to believe that they would remove it considering the 2+ billion they have spent already. Even though there are some flaws now this WILL be a money maker for them down the road. I would love to see that story however.

Considering the money they invested in the software, I would doubt they are throwing in the towel on this project. My DD would be very unhappy as she loves to plan every part of her trip, but for me personally, I would rather they tweak it a bit rather than close it down...which I doubt will ever happen.

They were April Fool's Day stories. They're not real. Disney has spent north of a billion dollars on this system (which goes far beyond FP+), they're not pulling it.

If you look under the Disney news stories on these dis boards, they have a
story about day guests being able to start using fastpass+. They also are looking to tweak it which sounds pretty good.
