Has Anyone Here Ever Lost a Friend?

Has anyone here lost a friend? To a move, or death or something?

:(

I just lost one of my best friends to a move that's like, 1,000 miles away from here.

I miss her a LOT now, and even though she's not "officially" moved, I won't see her again (except by chance meeting) until she visits here, because I only danced with her. I don't have her phone #, email, adress, etc.

I've been really sad ever since, and I can't seem to get any better.

Anyone here wanna discuss lost friends?

Quite a few times over for several reasons.
And once for no reason. It still doesn't make sense, because when we do talk, we get along like we used to, like nothing changed. But for some reason, we aren't friends.

And right now I'm in the process of losing another one. I will see him again, but I believe that the summers going to be too long of a gap, and that it will change either him or me... or that he'll forget all the good times...
I don't things will be the same when Sept rolls around.

Oh, I've lost a ton of friends. One day they just say that they're moving. The next day they're gone without even telling me where or how far. It sucks.

I've had all my friends ditch me once in fifth grade. And I mean all of them, I had one friend in fifth grade and she didn't even talk to me in school. I spent all recess just kinda walking around, waiting to see if someone would talk to me.
They never did.

That was just fantastic:furious:

I have lost two friends to the pressures of high school. My best friend Bianca started hanging out with the wrong people and doing the wrong things and she got mad at me for not still hanging out with her. She got really obsessive and gave me a note like I was her boyfriend.....CREEPY.

My other one lied to my face so I never talked to her again and she never apologized.

Yes. I had a group of friends, 7 of them, and we were bffs since kindergarten. Well 6 of them became totally different people around the end of 8th grade and the beginning of 9th grade. They became really snobby, extremely mean, impossible to have any kind of conversation with, and totally immature. So slowly I pulled away. I found this other group though, who I was kind of friends with already, but they basically "caught me when I fell" and are were so sweet with what was happening and all, and treated my like real friends should. It's SO hard in my school to change groups in my school, because it's really small. And there are only 4 big distinct girl groups in my grade that hang out separately, so of course the whole grade knew what was going on, and wasn't too supportive of letting me in...except for my new friends. But at the time I was still really good friends with someone from the old group. We stayed friends for a while, but really recently, like around the school play so January-ish, she became worse than anyone else had been to me. She did so many awful, stab you in the back things...my gosh, I don't even have time or space to say it all! The saddest part was that she was my truly best friend from the start, and she turned on me so quickly. It was as if she wanted to outdo the other girls in their meanness or something! I stayed in denial for a bit, but eventually I started not really talking to her anymore, and we aren't friends anymore, I would say. One of the things she did was steal some of my friends from me, so that put me in a weird situation, because she tried to "win them over". and it's kind of working. blah.

Edit: wow, sorry that was so long!

I lost my best friend a few weeks ago. She moved all the way from England to Kentucky. I really miss her. She had been talking about moving there from when she was 10 (we're now 15) but it never happened then and I didn't think it waould happen now.

One of mine died in her sleep around April last year of Cancer.
I still miss her

yeah, my "friends" started doing stuff with out me and putting mean stuff in my lockers and would invite me to sleepover but do mean things. and my other friend in like kindergarten died of nieman parks diesese. she was the sweetest thing ever. and her sister has the same diesese.

I lost a friend to a fight. I had heard that she was being rude to me being my back - and I decided to end it.

Aww, I'm so sorry, Allie!!

:(

I really miss my friend. She's moving from here (RI) to Florida. Which is like 1,000 miles away.

Which stinks.

My best friend in like 1st grade moved to california.
Some went to different schools for 6th grade
I lost one friend to the drink and drugs scene in 7th but i've got her back now. =]
I loose a lot through fights. My tongue's a little sharp and my conscience is non-existant. I'm not an easy person to get along with. I'm not that attatched to most of my friends, i can live with or without them. I love my best friends to pieces though.

same thing as DisGirlAllie

My friend died last year on Father's Day because of Cancer, his heart stopped.

I miss him very much.

I lost loads of friends when i moved here in Calne to live with my Mum and stepdad. In my old school i got on well with everyone, i never argued with anyone and i had some great friends but in a way im glad because i've made such good friends here and i see my move as an oportunity to make lots more friends. Yeah life here is very different to what i was used to and the people are very different to in which the way that they act but its cool because its fun to make new friends.

yes... two times too many....

When I was 10, I lost my best friend, Kristine, to brain cancer. She was 11 years old.

In March of 2007, my ex-boyfriend died in a drunk driving accident...

Oh no that sounds horrible.

I lost my dad to luekemia when i was seven. He was like a friend to me.
