Has anyone had to do a split table reservation at Le Cellier?

I made my ADR's this morning. I really want to eat at Le Cellier with my family of 5. The CM I spoke with told me that for a party of 5 at Le Cellier all she could do was offer a table of 3 and a table of 2. I went ahead and took it but now I'm very worried that means we won't be sitting together! Hello, my kids are 8, 6 and 5! They can't be sitting across the restaurant from us. Has anyone been told this and then were able to get 2 tables together when they showed up for the reservation? I'm so confused :confused3 Thanks! :goodvibes

I believe they'll be able to place you all together, IMO. For our reservation of 21 people they managed to get us all together in two sets of tables, so I would think they could manage getting 5 together! If you have early reservations, the less wait you should have; if later ressies, you may have to wait a few minutes longer but I'm sure they will end up placing you at one table. Enjoy LeCellier - it is an excellent restaurant:thumbsup2

yep, had a 4 + 4 at a certain time then a 2 about 1.5 hours later at Le Cellier on May 3, 2008. We ALL showed up at the same time (earliest time) and guess what... they sat all 10 of us at two tables together at the same time! What more could we ask for?!

Great! I was starting to get nervous. My imagination was painting this ridiculous picture of me and DH at a table at one end of Le Cellier and my 3 DD's at a table on the other side of the restaurant. Crazy! Whew, I feel better now. Thanks so much! :goodvibes :goodvibes

Sherri -
Did you really have an ADR at Le Cellier for 21 people? I want to book 16 people for Le Cellier in Dec and I was thinking they would laugh at me! Did you call the regular WDW dining phone # or did you go through the group dining number?

I just booked a party of 10 and 2 highchairs this morning and had to take 3 tables. Hopefully it will work out for us too!

Last time we were there, we had nine people and 3 tables. Even though they were separate tables they were right next to each other. VERY close. You should be fine.

Yes, 21 people and we had the earliest dinner ressie so when we arrived they placed us in five tables in an L shape along the back wall. It worked out fine.
We're hoping to get ressies again in 2009 for our return trip and this time we'll have 23 people, maybe 25!
I did go through group dining.

Relax. I had a party of twelve and we were at three tables of four right next to each other. Originally. When we checked in, I had the option of having the three tables like they were or pushed together for one big table which is what I did.

We had to with a party of 8. We sat at 2 tables of 4 right next to each other. The tables are so close together we did not feel like we were NOT sitting with each other. I have an ADR for a party of 5 for Sept and I hope they sit us together because of the little ones.....DH and I sometimes have to tag team them

I am in the same boat as you. I called at exactly 7:00 and the best I could get was a Thursday night (and I started trying for a Monday night and then on) and she told me for our party of five we would have separate tables as well. I am hoping that they can put us together as well. I was really surprised as I had an easier time getting CRT than I did Le Cellier.
Hopefully it will work out for all of us!!

Tell them when you are checking in at the Podium, they will not want your children across the room from you.
