HAS anyone had their reservation cancelled?

Im in tears and on hold for Member services. Went in today to and my reservation for October was there on Saturday and NOW ITS NOT. all my points are back in my account. Im So upset and of course on hold. They were current use year at MY home resort and booked months ago. I do have two waitlists on the same dates but those haven't come through. Anyone have this happen. These are my children one year anniversary trip. Any advice. I KNOW I didn't cancel anything. Plus if I did wouldn't I have gotten some notice that there was a cancellation. I have the email of the original reservation with the reservation number. Can my account have been hacked?

I don't know the answer, but I'd be in tears too. I hope it's just a glitch.

Weird things can happen. A few months ago I was getting some tickets for me and my DH. The CM said your husband has a silver AP. Long story short, the very next person a CM had helped had the same first name as my DH. That person was buying an AP but the CM gave it to my DH. Can you imagine how upset that person would be???? Weird , right?

Hope it's all cleared up soon.

My reservations weren’t cancelled but they disappeared from my dashboard last week, along with wait lists that I had under the same membership. It was an IT display faux pas and MS could still see both the reservations and waitlists on their side. It was a known IT glitch and it took several days before it was corrected. I hope that’s the case for you, however I never saw any points returned to my account during that time.

Can you still see the reservation in MDE?

thank you both for the encouragement. I was able to get on chat with MS and they were a big help. He said my account said they had cancelled the reservation because my waitlist (for a standard view to save points) was a match BUT they didn't book the confirmation for the new room. He was able to do that so now I do see a reservation back in my account and 20 points in current use year. I asked if it was a good thing I saw it and he said its always good to call and make sure if our reservations don't look right. LOL. I can breathe again. I really love the chat option. It wasn't available when I first saw the mess but as I was on hold for MS on the phone the CHAT option popped up!

It always makes me nervous with a waitlist during a busy time of year to have something like that happen.
