has anyone had any children attend the pirate adventure at GF?

My DD6 did it for the first time this last June. She loved it! I was nervous about leaving her etc. But it was all run very well. I cant help you with the question about ages but my 6yr old loved it and is begging to go again.

My 10 year old son and 6 year old daughter went in August to both the Pirate Cruise and Albatross Cruise. They loved both and say they'd recommend them.

Albatross Treasure Cruise – Bayside Marina - Children's cruise – children will wear bandannas and follow clues to search Crescent Lake and Epcot for map clues and sail to many exotic “ports of call” to collect treasure. During the voyage, the children will enjoy a readying of “The Legend of the Albatross” and at the final port of call, children will have lunch and split up the “buried treasure.” Wednesdays and Fridays 9:30am – 11:30am for ages 4-10; children must be potty trained – no pull-ups. She is not too old, but if she is an extremely bright young girl, you may tell her to give the younger ones the opportunity to solve a few clues. I spoke to Captain Ron and he said the biggest issue with the older children is that the clues are much easier for them to solve and sometimes they take the "thunder" from the little ones. He said that is why they have an age limit on the cruise that they don't like to exceed.

Oh I think they'll have a great time! My older two did this our last trip and my oldest is actually sad that she can't do it anymore... she'll be too old to.
They had a blast!

DS9 went on it in May. I was worried that he might not enjoy it because he was older but he loved it.
