It must be terrible not knowing anything. When you are waiting time just goes so slowly. I have no experience with DJJ. I wish I had some kind of inssight or info. for you. So sorry your family is having to go through this.

You may not want to share, but I'm guessing since you posted this thread, you might. So, may I ask, what is he being charged with? Why was he in the alternative school? How old is he?

He has has what they call odd,Can't control his anger and is bi-polar. He is 16 now,I have been taking him to doctors,counseling you name it since he was in the 6th grade. He takes meds that seem to help,but now we think he might be doing some kind of drugs. Not sure yet what they are going to charge him with. He was in the alternative school because he got expelled from the regular school .mrsdash

No Sherri,He has been to the alternative school here twice,Expelled both times.He is in the major lockup at our state Capitol. The police took him in the wee hours yesterday,and I can't even get any info on how he is or anthing until tomorrow. The people who work with the families are off on the weekends. There are several places that they could have taken him. I just want to know where he is and if he is alright.The cops got a little rough with him so I am so worried. My thoughts are with you. I am so sorry. Lots of good thoughts and hugs being sent your way. It is very possible that this will be a wake up call for him. Don't give up hope, in years to come you may be sitting around reflecting on this rough time in his life and all may be fine one day.
