Has ANYONE gotten a AAA or AP rate for week between Christmas/New Year? 12/26-1/1

I found another site showing historical discounts back to 2006 and ALL CODES and AP rates/AAA rates were NOT available any of these past years from 12/26 until 1/1.

Has anyone ever recieved a discount and if so do you recall what and when it came out?

IF i book a package now, can I add a discount later, if one happens to come up? Even the CM's told me they NEVER have a discount during this week at Disney.

That's the busiest week of the year. Discounts are to help them fill rooms and sell tickets. They don't need help during that week. I'll be hoping you get really lucky, but I wouldn't plan on having any kind of deal!

There never has been a discount for that week, but given the state of the economy, who knows? Wouldn't count on it, though.

I have a PIN code that ends on December 17. Disney allowed me to book through New Years with the PIN, though it doesn't apply on Dec. 25 or Dec. 31. It does apply all other days during my trip since I have my trip set to begin Dec. 17.

It's possible that they'll come out with somewhat last minute offers for December as long as travel begins somewhere around the 17th (I'm guessing all offers will include the same offer end date) so they'll only be usable if you're planning a long trip.

They've never ever offered a discount that's just for that week. I really doubt that they will this year either even with the economy being what it is. I wouldn't count on any discount over Christmas or New Year.

The 40% Pin discount sent out a couple months ago was valid through Dec 24. You could not book past that night with it.

Have you looked to see if Swan or Dolphin has discounts then?

AAA discount usually ends by 12/13 or so and picks up again 1/1 when the new rates come out in august

There have been codes the last couple of years for dates around Christmas but I believe they all end Dec 23 or 26. The week between Christmas and New Years is very busy.

If that's true then my family and I got lucky because we got the AAA rate for this December and were checking in on December 12th.

Disney use to offer discounts for that week, before day to day pricing, several years ago we checked in on the 24th and our discount was good through the new year.

If Disney offers free dining with the Disney Visa then the free dining offer will be good throughout your stay.The Goofy pin code that came out earlier had free dining but you had to check in by 12/17. Other pins that came out for the 40% off gave discounts up to 12/24. I think if something comes out you should really start looking around Oct.

I helped a family travel last year during that week and they could not get anything on the property but found some great deals for resorts close to Disney through mousesavers.com and the family ended up having a great time. You might want to check into some of those options, again start really looking toward the end of Oct.
