That's alot of money that they're expecting people to spend on souvenirs -- and in this economy... If you could use it for food, it would be more meaningful...

I received this offer as well...I have to agree that is a lot of money to spend just on souvenirs. I was disappointed when I read the fine print that it doesn't count towards food or at least the spa services. I'm not sure I would spend that much money. I know I always spend more than I plan for but I'm not sure I would still even spend that much.

I received the offer, too. I can't decide if I'll spend that much or not either??
I guess it would be nice to go ahead and purchase it though and have it paid for and not worry about charging anything while I'm there. But like some of you have said, I wish I could use it for food and other things too.

Well that explains why I didn't get one (at least partially). Our check-in day is 11/30. Since it looks like it can't be used for food, it's a good thing I didn't get it.

We also got this pin offer, we check in 12/6. I agree, if it included dining I was all for it but it wasnt. But my mother in law and father in law plan on spending that much and they go every year and it doesnt exprie they bought the $1000 for $695. You were also limited to only purchase 1 of the deals. You couldnt buy 1000 and 500 or 2 1000.

I just found this in DH email today and we are still discussing it. They are us and two 16 year old traveling this time and it might be nice to get one of hte offers and not have to worry about $$$ .

We recieved it too, we have the DVFD pckg and thought if it worked for food and hence tips it would be great - but no such luck. Don't think I want to spend that much. but I suppose you could work it a little and buy snacking things in the gift shops.

Another thing is that the remaining amount doesn't expire so you could use it on future trips.

i received that offer also and thought for $535 at a mod or $565 at a value for room and park tickets for 2 people was a sweet deal. (5 nights for the special)

The $500 credit was the additional add on perk.

since it has a limited time period, no thanks.
i don't remember if i have the dates correct but when i glanced at it it was for May 21 to june 2? only on my email.

You people are obviously not Disney pin people (as in the pointy metal things) otherwise you would use that money in a flash!
