I am planning some Airline travel and usually wear Contact Lenses. I wonder if I can bring a contact lens case with Saline in it on the plane. It would have just a few ozs of saline. I would not attempt to bring a whole bottle on the plane, I know this is banned now. But how about a Contact Lenses case with just a little bit of saline?

Anyone know for sure. The Internet is full of guesses about this question.

Well today they decided that up to 4 oz of liquid meds would be allowed without a prescription, so I bet you can carry this on now. It's less then the 4 oz and even the TSA should understand that if you pour it out for them the lenese are ruined.....

I looked into it and the internet says that saline or daily cleaner for contact lenses are not considered medicine. So no answer yet.

Well if I still wore contacts I would have a case with solution in it on me. Maybe COMMON sense will break out with your TSA agent....

Sorry, but they aren't suppose to be looking for SALINE, they are suppose to be looking for BOMBS
