Has anyone done this while on vacation in the world??? I've been on WW now for about 2 years and its been a slowwww process for me, but I have finally lost 70 pounds  I have been quite faithful about going to the meetings this past year and have found that going to the meetings really helps me.
I will be in WDW from 10/3-10/10 which is a Saturday to Saturday and of course I go to my meetings on Saturdays. I figure I can go to a meeting the Friday before we leave and if there is a meeting place close to WDW I am seriously considering going to a meeting on 10/9 if possible.
Am I being to obsessive?? Usually I have had pretty good luck with my weight when I go to Disney because of all the walking. But I am going with first timers so I know I'll be going at a slower pace. I feel a meeting would be good for me since I know I'll be weighing in.

Hi,
I have been doing WW for a while and I went to Disney over New Year's. I, too wanted to go to a meeting while I was there. I typed in Disney World's zip code in the meeting finder on the WW website. There were a few meetings not to far away, so i thought about it. But then I realized I was on vacation. So instead of going to a meeting, I created a step challenge for myself. I brought my pedometer and challenged myself to go farther each day. It worked! I lost 2 lbs while I was in Disney World.
Hope this helps!
Have a magical night!

Thank you I like this idea, I even have a pedometer that has not gotten much use lately.
I have been thinking of ways to make sure I walk more while I am in WDW. Usually I go by myself and I love to walk between Epcot and DHS, and just walking around Epcot is a great walk too. This trip will be with my brother his step daughter and her 10 year old son and I am just afraid I won't find time to get my extra walks in. I can challenge myself to get up each morning and get a nice walk in before starting in the Parks.
We will be staying at the Allstar Sports so no gym but I can walk between the 3 Allstar resorts that should be a good distance. And then while we are in the parks I can walk while everyone is taking a break.

I stayed in the All Star Sports in June and did exactly what you said. I walked around all three All Star Resorts. I got alot of extra steps in that way. I was there with my cousin and her two little girls, so extra walking was hard to come by, so I found ways to do it. While they were swimming one day I boarded a bus for Downtown Disney and then transferred to the Carribbean Beach Resort and walked around the lake. I have also taken a bus the the EPCOT Resort area and walked around the YC, BC, BW, Swan and Dolphin, then walked to HS and took a bus back to All Star. There are so many ways to stay active in WDW without a gym! :yay: I hope you have a Magical trip!
