Has anyone from the UK ever stayed in a Club Level room?

There is alot of choice for CL! I'm having a hard time chosing myself!

I'm incredibly indecisive which just doesn't help :rotfl: so my boyfriend is coming round tomorrow to help me chose! :thumbsup2

Me & my bf are not really 'fancy' eaters - we like simple to the point food. WL CL & BC/YC CL seem more on our 'level' for food choice in their Lounges from the pictures i've been looking at.

I stayed at CL in WL. We had a surprise upgrade at check in. It was totally amazing, and I'd love to do CL again. Unfortunately we had no idea about the food on offer as we never knew much about CL when it happened.

We've stayed CL at the Poly, GF (main and SL) CR, BWI, YC and BC. IMHO BC and YC are the worst of them. Lounges are smaller and the food was uninspiring and very repetive when we last stayed at the BC in July '10.

Agree re. the food, (according to CM friends) Disney is downscaling most of the CL evening food options apart from GF, I certainly saw it re. my most recent BWI stays over previous years. I only grab a couple of crudite/cheese before heading out to my evening meal so I'm not overly fussed re. the evening offerings, but I think sometimes depending on expectations it can lead to disappointment.

Thanks for the info!

My boyfriend & i have decided on either WL CL or CR CL but we both like the BC so we might just book a Lagoon View room without CL.

:)

I stayed CL at WL and loved it, the lounge area is really nice as you are on the top floor of WL and overlook the lobby, the cm's were also lovely. I prefer the CL were all the rooms are on the same floor, I know on AKL and BW they arent all on the CL floor level.

I prefer rooms on the same level as the lounge too - just to clarify the standard cl rooms at the bwi are on the same level as the lounge, there are also deluxe cl rooms but only some are on the same level, the remaining deluxe cl rooms and the garden suites aren't.

Just to confuse you more the CR has 2 CL: Tower Club (14th floor) or Atrium Club (12th floor). The 14th floor only has 5 standard rooms the rest are suites. It nice but more expensive and not easy to get a discount on. The Atrium club on the 12th floor you can book either MK view or Bay lake view.

Both lounges have the same food offerings.

We tried the 14th floor last year on an AP rate and the 12th booked for this year on a GP discount.

Oh yes i did see this, but i would prefer to stay on the 12th floor (Atrium Club) as it's nicer.

But i don't know whether you'll know which CL floor you've booked until nearer the time? Does it say when you book online?

I would check myself but i don't have any dates set yet.

You know which floor (and view if applicable) when you book as they are priced differently.

We loved the 14th Floor as they have oversized balconies and it is not open to the atrium like the other floors so it was nice and quiet.

We are trying the 12th Floor this time as could get a discount on the 14th and hoping we are not disappointed.

We've just checked in CR club and had reserved a 12th floor Mk view but we found out at check in we've been bumped up to 14th in a 2 bed MK view suite. I can't wait for the room ready text, I'm dying to see our room !

Thanks for replying! :thumbsup2

Do you book CL room's over the internet or over the phone? CL only seems widely available on the Disney US website.

Omg I'm so jealous, now that's what I call an upgrade!! we loved our MK room on the 14th floor and it's pretty exclusive up there, I think we saw 3 people the whole week we were there..

Always book via US using dreams as it is usually cheaper due to the discounts offered.

I know when I booked this it was cheaper than booking a standard MK room through Disney UK as long as the rate stayed above $1.50. So better room less money :thumbsup2
