Is it a good company? Any negs for them? The girls and I are moving back to FL a month before DH so we can set up house before he gets there..I checked for the cheapest tickets online and I can get a DIRECT FLIGHT with no stops (Yea!!) from SYR to Orlando Int'l on JetBlue for $248.70 for all three of us! Plus their website said they have DirectTV on every seat so the girls could watch tv and keep entertained LOL.

I love Jetblue! :thumbsup2 To me, they're the Disney of airlines- Clean planes, friendly service and great ammenties. ;)

Love JetBlue!!

I've only flown them once, from here to Boston, but I loved the experience.

I'm hoping they'll eventually start flying from RIC to MCO direct!

DH and I love JetBlue. We flew from JFK to California over the summer - I never expected to be comfortable on a 5 hour flight. It was wonderful! I didn't even fall asleep for very long on either leg because I was more interested in watching TV. JetBlue is our new favorite airline!

Personally I don't like Jet Blue. YES, they have televisions and leather seats but they have an awful on time track record. I flew them to a conference in Boston and our plane was delayed for three hours due to "unforseen problems". That is seriously what they said. Then, when we finally took off they made a dramatic anouncement that we would all be given $50 vouchers for our trouble. YEA! NOT! When we landed we asked about the vouchers. They said "you can call in and reference your name and the flight number and the credit will be applied to a future trip." No handout, no written info, just call and get the credit. HA! I called to use it and was told it had "expired". When I argued that they did not give me any written information they said it was my responsibility to learn the limitations of their offer. Well...I guess it wasn't as simple as calling and applying the credit. I complained and got several nasty emails from a women in customer service telling me that I was negligent. Never again. I can live without their televisions for a few hours. Plus their prices have gone up lately.

I just read my post and I sound so angry! Yikes. The seats are comfortable, the television is nice, and if you can score a non-stop great. I was emotionally involved in my prior posting....this is my objective post. But they are frequently late so if you are headed on a cruise or time sensitive trip take note.

I flew for the first time with them in October of 2006. If they were not in Boston and it was not so expesive to park I would fly with them every time. :goodvibes Compared to SW I loved them!!!

It's the only airline we use these days. Never had a problem.

Never flown them, but they were on the local news last night. Seems a large group of students from Washington DC had their flight cancelled (duh - the airport in DC was probably closed) but JetBlue is doing nothing to get these teens and adults flights home. Another flight was all adults and they managed to find all of them alternate flights.....I wonder if those kids are spending another night in the Oakland Airport tonight.

Love Jetblue. It is the only airline we use and we have had no problems with them.

If I remember correctly your DH is Military, if this is part of a PCS you may want to check with TMO because they may have to make your travel arrangements to be reimbursed. We have always driven, but I would hate to see you buy them and not get paid back.

flown them many times - was only delayed once, and that was to WDW. No need to fly them to FL anymore, but fly them to the west coast every now and then. They are a pretty good airline.

As someone who flies quite a bit between business & leisure, I try to fly JetBlue whenever possible no matter where I'm going. With respect to the poster I'm citing, I have found them consistently to be the most on-time airline, and I've read more than one study that objectively shows them among the tops in on-time performance.

In over 50 flights on Jet Blue (I looked it up via my frequent flyer rewards program), I've had one three hour delay, and that was due to a hurricane coming up the east coast on the day I was flying. Not the airlines fault at all. My impression is that they are within 10 minutes of scheduled times 85-90% of the time.

Hope you enjoy the airline as much as I do, but let me offer one tip; bring your own headphones for the TV sound. The ones provided (for free!) by the airline get rather uncomfortable in a very short time. I recommend ones that clip on the ear and have no headband. You can wear them for long periods of time with no strain or pain, and they roll up to almost nothing into your luggage when not using them.

Have a great flight!

I have flown them once to FL and thought they were pretty good and would use them again..

Now Delta, that is a different story.. I swear I will never fly them again. I just recently gave them a second chance after saying this one other time, thinking maybe they have improved.. no, they have not and never again.

Yup, Delta sucks. And I think I'm being kind when I phrase it that way. I tried Song (Delta's budget airline which they started as a Jet Blue competitor and has since folded) and had a bad enough experience the 3 times I flew them that I decided they were too "off-key" for me and went right back to JetBlue.

I agree about Delta.

We started flying Jet Blue this year and really like them. Especially if the airfare goes down, they will give you a credit towards your next flight.

Twice we actually got in EARLY when we flew them. We also got delayed, but so did everyone else flying to Newark that day.

One time I flew them, the flight next to us got cancelled due to mechanical problems. They offered everyone a free one way ticket and a full refund if they were unable to rebook. I think most airlines would only give you the refund if unabl,e to rebook.
