Has anyone flown Delta since they stopped operating Song?

I loved Song. Delta was OK, but I really want a TV (I'm a terrified flyer and it helped me relax). Delta has some great fares, but I'll skip to Jet Blue for the TV.

Any opinions? I remember the old Delta planes didn't have a TV, so I'd rather fly Jet Blue with a TV than Delta without.

Song doesn't end till the end of this month. Daughter went to DL on Song will be coming home on Delta.

Well, if anyone happens to see this after Song disappears, let me know if they have TVs on the Delta flights!

I need my HGTV if I'm going to fly. HGTV and a fruity beverage laced with some sort of alcohol.

I heard that even though they were consoldating, they will still be using Song fleet. I'd call just to double check, but that's what I was told when I spoke with Song a while back.

I'll be flying Delta next Saturday - originally booked Song 11 months ago. I'm doubtful we'll get a plane with the TV's, as I read they're using those planes for the long hauls(1700+ miles) and Hartford to Orlando doesn't qualify. I'm bummed as I really enjoyed the TV's and it was one of the reasons I booked Song.

We flew Song last year and loved it. Why do "they" get rid of everything I like?? If I like a tv show, that's the kiss of death for it. I'm sure "House" will be cancelled soon.

I've yet to catch "Ghost Whisperer" I think I'll go set the Tivo for it right now and catch it this week. Love "House" I think it's the sarcasm....

DH flew Song from Orlando to Boston on Friday. He was disappointed when he got to the gate and saw a regular Delta plane because he was looking forward to the TV and MP3 player on the way home. It turns out it was a Song plane inside with TV and green trim but the outside had been repainted.

I haven't heard anything else about what will happen with the Song planes. We flew them the last two trips and really liked them. Delta isn't showing any cheap fares though, so we'll have to look elsewhere.

Check your flights seat assignments.

According to Seatguru, Delta flies 2 types of 757's, one with a first class that are the Delta planes, and one with all economy, those are the Song planes. So as long as you are flying on a 757, and there is no first class, you should have the Song planes.

I've flown Delta for work seven times in the past couple months all over the US, including a trip in from Atlanta this morning. No TVs, and unfortunately, the pilots still hammer the planes in through bad weather and heavy turbulents. It was so rough this morning, the flight attendants didn't even wheel out the snack carts. I just can't stand Delta anymore...they have really been slipping lately.

I love SONG and I was sad to hear it was going. They have a non-stop from Las Vegas to Orlando leaving late in the evening and arriving early in the morning...perfect for us in every way.. what a loss...

And the T.V was a great way to pass the time... this airline will be missed!

The "Song" planes will have to be taken offline to be repainted and do whatever needs to be done to the interior to make them like other Delta before entering the Delta fleet. I think this conversion is all ready taking place, but it will take some time to get them all done.

Daughter flew home yesterday from LAX. Flight was branded Delta but the plane was Song. They had Delta uniforms on. They also had a flight attendant that they had on the flight out. He was remarking that he lost his job and got a new one and new uniforms.

They are also adding a first class cabin to the planes when they are repainted.
