Has anyone flown Delta Express out of Newark?

We are booked on an afternoon flight in September and we are flying Delta Express for the first time. We've always flown Continental, but couldn't pass up the good rate. Can anyone tell me what to expect in terms of service and being on time?

We've left our van at Newark many times, and we've never had a problem.

we flew delta express from newark last summer and it was fine. Nothing out of the ordinary. We brought our own snacks, which I would recommend if you tend to get the munchies.

Our flight going home was cancelled due to storms in the northeast (as were almost all flights) & they didn't put us up, but they did get us a good rate at a nearby hotel. The only problem was that I checked in & no one told me the flight was cancelled, although they knew by then. It was kind of weird. And we had to wait for a later flight the next day in order to get 5 seats. We couldn't split up because we had one car picking us up. We were quite a crew - mother in law, sister & her 2 kids, and a 7 month pregnant woman!

I always fly Delta Express.It is cheap.It may be no frills but for 2 1/2 hours I'll take that anyday.

Cheshire, I would NEVER leave my car at the Newark airport public parking lots. I always park off site. I've used several places, right now I'm using SkyPark as they have a deal where you park ten times and get the 11th free. I used to use Vista and loved them, but had an incident where I called for over half an hour once before they would answer the phone (let it right 11, 12 times), at midnight, so I don't use them anymore.

There are plenty of other places as well. The airport lot isn't secured, there was an article in the Star Loser a couple years ago about how massive the theft and breakin problem was there.

Are they still doing construction at the airport? last time I dropped someone off (may?) several of the lots were closed & they were sending people offsite anyway.

We usually just get a car service/limo. It's nice to be taken right to the door! I do look for discount coupons

We use Delta Express and Continental out of Newark to Orlando.
We park at Avistar off site parking and have had no trouble with
leaving our car for a week. They have a web site with a coupon, but we have a Corporate Discount Card.
We have had Delta cancel on us at the last minute. Our flight was at 11:00 am and they called us at 4:00AM and wanted to know what we wanted to do. They got us on a 10:30AM out of Laguardia but the taxi ride from Newark airport was 1 1/2 hours..never again. Next time they cancel I will ask them to put us on another airline out of Newark.
We like Delta Express and will pick them again if the price is right.

Ducklite, I got an internet deal for Vista parking for $54 for 7 days!!
But now I'm worried because of what happened to you....our return
flight doesn't get in until Midnight....I was probably going to call in sick
to work the next day anyway
