I realize I have some money leftover there and figured I'd finish it and try to cash out. What's the deal? Don't they have a "shut off" for when you've reached your limit? I just did 30 searches for 30 cents (couldn't get the .02) - I know it says you can only do 10, but it seemed like I could have kept going and it also says it may be increased, so I think that's a little ambiguous.

If they get mad at me for doing so many, I think it's their own fault for having such a screwy system - I also don't want to just do 10 searches a day when I could be doing more.

Has anyone figured this out?

I read that you could only do so many searches a day, but is that in addition to the searches that they have provided? It says you can get extra money for doing your own searches (that's the 10) and they don't want you to abuse their system, but, I am sorry to say that I have. I have clicked on all of those that they have provided, but I nhever do my own searches. I don't know when I reach my 30, I guess I don't check often enough. But you are right. They should have it in their system to not credit you once you have reached your limit.

There is a warning that pops up and a place on the site that says at this time searches are limited to 10 a day. You can keep on doing as many as you want and your account will go up but don't be suprised when you got to cash out if they disallow the extra searches ( I am not saying that they will but it is a possibility).

I saw the warning, but don't you think the system is a little weird? Why do they keep crediting us? I would think that they would want us to use the search engine more instead of less - isn't that the point? So, we have to be careful not to use their site too much? That doesn't make sense. I'm doing 30 a day - if they punish me, OK, I'll live with it. But I think they've caused this themselves!

Hayley my guess would be that they are waiting to see how well the searches are being credited to them (meaning how many of our searches that they are getting paid for) before allowing more searches. They are in a beta period right now so are limiting the searches to 10 to make tracking this information easier and to make sure that they aren't going to be stuck paying out large sums of money for millions of searches that they don't get paid for (again a guess). Limiting it to 10 is damage control just in case they don't get paid. My guess would also be that the reason that they don't have it cut off after 10 is that they would like you to use their search engine (they just aren't going to pay out for endless searches). It may also be that they didn't want to code in that limitation only to have to take it out again once out of Beta.
