Has anyone experienced the Disney's Family Magic Tour?

I am considering the Disney's Family Magic Tour with my 5 yr. old for this upcoming May trip? What are your experiences with it and do you think a 5 yr. old is a good age for it? He is a BIG Peter Pan fan! Thank you!

Bump... I'm curious about this too. Never paid attention to tours before because of the kids ages but now...... well, they are older now. LOL

DS and I did this last year. We had a blast! You end up doing some pretty silly things. I actually walked 20 paces in Magic Kingdom picking my nose. The young kids thought this was a riot! Although you are never guaranteed which character you will find, we did get Peter Pan and Wendy. We had our pictures made with them in a little private area. They give you a certifiacte to take with you. Whe then walked with them to Mickeys Philharmagic to watch the show. My DS(11 at the time) will never forget the time he spent with Wendy! I was afraid he was too old last year, but he had fun being silly. We dont get enough chances in life to be silly. He has asked to do it again this year. We will, just so I can hold on to the memory of " my little boy." Do it, it is well worth the money.

We did this last summer with our three kids, DS7, DS5, DD5. We all had a good time. Just be prepared to act a little silly. I'm proud to say I acted very "Goofy"> When you get to the second clue, you'll understand !

Our characters were also Peter Pan and Wendy, and we did Mickey's Philharmagic with them too.

This tour is worth every penny. We even did it twice during a long trip! We are doing it on Feb 8th! The kids enjoy seeing the adults be kids again. The tour points out things that most of us never take the time to notice. I don't want to give any details away, but it really does help you to stop and notice all the little details that make Disney so special. I can't wait!!!!

Thank you thank you ! I am soooo excited! Just got off the phone with Disney tours and its booked! I was able to get a AP discount of 15% percent. So far though it looks like we are the only family for that morning. I actually hope others will sign up and we can all be silly!
