Hi Everyone!

I'm just curious if any of you have tried RPH Club level. I would like to know your experience there. How was their service and what was served for breakfast and for afternoon snacks and evening snacks.

My kids DS 6 and especially DD 4 eat quite a bit too often. It seems like every hour on the hour they eat. I thought maybe this might be the ticket to go about saving some money on food/snacks and drinks.

We will be spending some time at the resort. Considering their age, they won't be in the parks all day. We will hang out at the hotel swimming and relaxing during mid-day and possibly go out again late afternoon back to the parks.

I'm just wondering if this is worth it to me?? Would you pay more? Thanks for any inputs.

We stayed in RP Club last November for the great $139 rate.

It was nice and convenient. My kids are picky though. Breakfast was juice, coffee, tea milk, and water with muffins type things. They also had fruit. They had bread for toast and maybe some cereal too.

I don't remember lunch items but I do remember veggie dip and some veggies at some point in the day.

Then I think they had free beer etc...for an hour in the evening.

They had strange stuff for dinner my kids didn't really like. I remember some cocktail meatballs and maybe wings??

Water and soda was always on hand after breakfast.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

For us the biggest benefit was drinks whenever we needed them.

We stayed in Club level last summer and I will tell you what I remember. They had a nice continental breakfast with a variety of pastries, bagels, cereals, fresh fruits, juices and there may have also been a hot item like oatmeal. The lounge had TVs on each end and it seemed like kids were watching one and the grown ups watched the news on the other. We really enjoyed the convenience of having breakfast in the club level. My DH would take the kids down to the lounge as I took care of last minute matters in the room and then I would join them. There were sodas and bottled water available all day. We would take a couple of bottles of water with us to the park. My mind is a blank regarding daytime snacks. I know they had them I just don't know what it was (Memory is the first to go once you hit 40!) In late afternoon, early evening, I recall hourderves (sp), each night it was something different. Again I can't remember specifics. Later they had desserts, wine and beer. Sorry to be so vague. Even though I can't remember the specifics, I can tell you that the kids enjoyed it immensely. If they were hungry, they always found something in the lounge to appease them. We only stayed there 2 nights and then we went to Disney's Yacht Club for 5 nights in concierge. We thought RPH had better service than the Yacht Club. We always had to ask for sodas at the YC and there was no bottled water. RPH had all the drinks out for the guests all the time and they were always stocked up. I should also mention the club level rooms were $150 less than the Yacht Club concierge. Is it worth the extra expense? We tried to figure out how much money we "spent" in utilizing the Club. It is hard to guess how much money the kids ate that we would have spent on snacks and drinks but in all, we felt we came close to breaking even or at worst spent an extra $5-$15 per night. But believe me, the convenience of the lounge was worth more than that to us! We will be staying in club level again this summer for 3 nights (still $100 less a night than Disney's YC) when visiting my sister in the area. This is the first time we will be skipping Disney altogether. I guess we are true converts!

I have stayed at RP club level several times. we will be there again March 21st.
The staff is truely the BEST! They will make all your dinner reservations for you. They have been great to my kids andeven remember what we like to eat & drink when we are there.
They have a great continental breakfast! Mango cream cheese is excellent!
During the day fruit, bottled water, soda and coffee is available.
From 5-7 is happy hour. free beer & wine is offered, they have other liquors at a small charge available. they put out a few cold items such as crudite, cheese & crackers, chips & salsa and one hot or salad type item. (could be better)
from 8-9 is cookies and milk hour and then they stay open until 10:30.
Right now the best rate avaliable is $209.00 per night.

My son must have eaten $200 worth of fresh pineapple the two days we were there!!

The snacks at happy hour leave much to be desired (other than the chips and salsa which were good)

Milk and cookies were good, but they ran out early and didn't replenish.

The staff was excellent. The lounge is nice and relaxing.

It was worth the $139 we paid last summer, but I don't know that it's worth the $209 plus rate.

I agree, but I had to compare it to the best rate I could get when I'm going. The best rate available was $159.00 or close to that a night, so I'm , paying approx. $50.00 more a night. That is worth breakfast and drinks for the four of us. If I had gotten the $109.00 Entertainment rate, it probably wasn't worth an extra $100.00 a night for the four of us.

At $50/night it is worth it. Breakfast alone would cost half of that. If you are there daily for the happy hour and cookies and milk that adds up too.

Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing everyone's experience and infos. I called the hotel directly and they said it's $223 w/ Fan Club during my stay in April (17-24). This sounds expensive huh? This is the best rate I can find. Unfortunately I can't change the date to make lower the rate. I am taking the kids during their Easter break.
