Has anyone ever used this site for car rental before?

airportcarrentalorlando.com ?? I came across it the other day...and when I plugged in my 2 week rental period I received a quote for $682 US for a MINI VAN. The quote says it's through Alamo.

Seems almost too good to be true...where most Mini Van rentals are through the roof for 2 weeks. Has anyone else use this site before?

I'm going to give this a bump because I got a good rate too.

Just a little follow-up. I just called Alamo and they indeed confirmed my reservation with the rate I was quoted! :cool1: I'm now wondering if I should call them back and ask them if they can apply any of the Alamo discount codes (ie: Costo discounts)..worth a try I guess :thumbsup2

Let us know what happens. Something tells me that discounts are already being applied to these due to the price and no other coupons could be applied.

I would be careful using this site as the rates may not be valid for US residents. The site is based in Auckland, New Zealand and you may be asked for a passport when picking up your vehicle.

There's nothing in the Terms and Conditions stating this..infact, when booking they ask what Country you're from.

It does say "Vehicles rented in Alaska must be returned to Alaska. Vehicles can be driven into Canada but must be returned to the United States. Canadian residents renting vehicles in the United States may not drive vehicles into Canada." That would be me! :goodvibes

Oh and reservations actually go through Car Trawler.

Wow - I just entered my dates in May for a compact car - and the prices were about double what I already have booked! I have a compact car with Dollar for $200. The lowest (Not counting E-Z, who I don't trust), was Thrifty at $425!!!! Talk about OMG!
