Has anyone ever used ORBITZ

I was watching the price wars today using the ORBITZ
flight application. To my surprise I was paing very close
attention to those flights from Boston to Orlando (for of couse August, which is my next trip). Now at 0630 in the morning I was all set to pay 190.00 for my round trip direct flight to orlando. Well I ended up getting tied up with other work issues so when I got back to looking at the princes I found that I could fly out with delta at 156.00, now I'm getting real happy. Well I got tied up again and when I got back to my desk I figured I'd lost the deal of the day, but to my amazement, I found another direct round trip flight from American Airlines for.........109.00.......guess what....yes I booked using orbitz. I have the confirmation, but I've never used something like this. I requested e-tickets, but do I contact the airport to confirm what I did worked, or contact the orbitz people to confirm it. I beleive that I may have gotton one of the best deals that I've ever seen. Just want to make sure that it's true.

You were lucky.

Orbitz does two searches: the first when you make your first request. This one searches fares only. Then when you decide to buy, Orbitz searches again, this time for availability. The low fare will always be there but an available seat at that fare may not.

I've tried to book and had that problem and from what I've seen on other boards it's a common problem.

Orbitz is for real. it gives you some nice features (like checking prices at multiple airports near your departure and/or destination in one shot) I've used it and found it quite worthwhile.
