Has anyone ever "Timed" the TARGET 90% OFF Halloween Sale?

Just returned from Target. Candy was 50%, all other Halloween merch was 70%.

my husband works at target and corporate told them to throw away their 75% signs and start using 70% off signs, there were no mention about changing the 90% off so he assumed it will still go to 90% eventually if anything is left but no guarantees.

Darn, I guess that means no more 75% off on seasonal, hopefully it will still go to 90% off. One store near me only went to 80% off for summer merchandise where the others went to 90% off so I hope they don't change it to 80% off as the maximum discount instead of 90% off at all stores.

Just got back from the Target in a super busy part of town. They still had Tons of good stuff! Everything including candy was at 70% off. I went ahead and got DD a Dorothy costume for next year and a few decorations. I had to stop myself.. it's so hard to walk away from a deal :rotfl2:

Dont forget to check your local Menards for big discounts on Halloween stuff. Mine had some stuff already at 75% off on Wednesday. They still had candy, decorations, and costumes.

Still 70% off at my Target today but very little left. Really meager pickings.

I was at Target yesterday and the ONLY candy they had left was candy corn and pretzel M&Ms.

Just returned from Target. Candy was 50%, all other Halloween merch was 70%.

Same here. Bummer. I downloaded some candy coupons from the Target site and picked up some candy for more off than the 50%. You guys should check out the Target online coupon section. There were a bunch of candy coupons.

I was bummed to see the sale was 1/2 and 1/2 like that, and to see 70% instead of 75%. The candy that I got on sale last year for $1.50 was $3.50 today. But I did have a coupon so that made it a little better. It stinks to see the sales sink. I *think* the regular price for the bag of candy was $3.50 last year. If not it was close to it. Sign of the times I guess.

Our Target inventory was dwindling fast at 50%. I don't think there will be any left for any more discounting.

This morning my Target had signs up for 70% off merchandise, but 50% off candy. I scanned M&Ms and they were $.80. The candy was now 70% off or so. I say this because, I bought a $9 bag of combo M&M/Mars brand and it rang up at $3. Still so many costumes and candy, it doesn't look like they sold anything since Wednesday, which is when I was there last. Also, I have heard a lot of the other local Targets have similar quantities of candy on their shelves.

Our Target had just 50% off on their Halloween merchandise and candy and there was a ton left. They better get that stuff out of there to make room for the Christmas decorations, etc. Come on Target, get a move on!

Just got back from my Target. The candy was 75% off and they had more than 5 aisles full!!!! I have never seen so much candy left over. All other Halloween items were 70% off. I was quite surprised to see the 75% off signs since no one else has seen them.

Went late tonight and candy and costumes were 70% here in central NJ. Resisted the candy I like, they had tons of candy, and just got some for the kids, including Cars pez for my little guys birthday party in March. :woohoo:, also got 2 costumes for little guy for dress up. I kept thinking this would be perfect for a candy buffet, most of the candy only had Halloween labeling on the outside bag.

I was hoping today would be the 90% day but alas it wasn't  Though I went early this morning and there was an employee back in the Halloween dept and she was changing the signs on the candy to 70% from 50%. They still had a bunch of costumes and a bunch of candy. I should have asked about the 90% but I don't think there is anything that I really need. I did scan a couple boxes of cereal that weren't with the Halloween stuff but had Halloween packaging (Lucky Charms, Honey Nut Cheerios) but they were still full price :confused3

I did end up getting a Lightning McQueen pez dispenser for DD (.59) and a bag of Hot Tamales for .70 That was my big spending spree at Target today.

I'm glad that I thought to look at the singamajigs the other day though. The Halloween ones were still mixed in with the regular ones so I got the ghost for $4. The witch one was still there today so I moved him over to where the rest of the Halloween clearance was. I want someone else to get that great deal!!!

Darn Target clearance. I'm an addict! :lmao:

I went to Target yesterday to try to pick up candy because our trick-or-treating was postponed until tonight (as was most of New England due to the storm and power outages). Almost nothing left! I really don't get many kids who come by, so I don't even think I'll turn my light on this year.

This has turned out to be a disappointing Halloween.

By midday Nov. 1 my Target never has anything good left. At 70% all there is is non-chocolate candy, some crappy costumes, and makeup. Gotta be there at store opening the day after Halloween and run right to the aisle.

my target was 90% off today, and I was happy with what I found - all decor, and 4 costumes ...I didn't get any candy

Went back this morning. Signs still said 70% but things rang up 90% (except bagged candy) Got 6 costumes and some misc items. yay! :goodvibes

Also got some practical items like snow boots and a winter coat while I was there. That was my main reason for going :goodvibes The Halloween was just a bonus!

My Target was 90% on decor and costumes, and 70% on candy.

At 90% off I got two halloween buckets at $.40 a piece. At 70% off I got a bag of child's play mix for $2.09, a mixed bag of starburts, skittles, m&ms, and snickers for $2.09 and a bag of Butterfingers for $.80.

There was not much left but they had a few things.

Found 2 zoobles for $0.39 and a cute bag for DD for $1 for trick or treating next year. Gonna go back tomorrow and check out the bagged legos by the registers. :thumbsup2

I did pretty well this morning. Having a baby soon, so I got an outfit for .99 cents, onesie for .49 cents, bibs for .39 cents, and socks for .10 cents. Also got socks for the kids, Squinkies for .39 cents, and cupcake kit for .69 cents. And, I got lots of the 90% off Legos. Love this sale!

My store was 90% off today.

I got 3 costumes for my nephew for Christmas ($5 total). He loves to dress up and the rest of the kids in our family are girls, so we always seem to have an abundance of girl dress-up clothes and not much for him.

My youngest DD got a tutu (black with stars). We also found some of the small lego bags by the register. At .39 these are great for the stockings, Toys for Tots, et...
