Has anyone ever taken the Warner Bros. Studio tour out in L.A.?

I'm going out there in 2 weeks and my girlfriend and I have tickets for the tour. I was just wondering how good it was and what I can expect.

I've never been--but it sounds like fun. My first thought was I wonder if you'll see the Warner Brothers and the Warner Sister, Dot! DD used to watch the Animaniacs all the time and that's the first thing that pops into my head!

As much as I adore WDW, I have always wished that WB would do a comparable theme park of their own (not just wretched Six Flags parks licensing WB characters).

I am a Looney Tunes fan and WB has so many other great franchises--Batman, Harry Potter, etc.

I did it last summer! It was awesome! You start with an overview movie of WB's history and then see a museum with costumes and stuff. Then you take the backlot tour which was really cool! We saw the Gilmore Girls filming thier show and the cast of the West Wing hanging out by thier trailers. When I later watched the Gilmore Girls I recignized the scenes as the ones we saw being filmed!!

I took the tour way back in 1998 and would highly recommend it. We didn't see anything actually filming (waaaa!) though. It was cool to see the sets, costumes, etc. I would do it again if I get to LA anytime soon.

Just did this about 2 weeks ago. It was excellent. Unfortunately everything's pretty much on hiatus right now so we didn't see any stars there or anything being filmed. They told us the only thing filming there now is Catwoman with Halle Berry... but it was supposed to wrap in days. The studio mostly tapes sitcoms and TV dramas... most of which do not film in Summer.

We saw the Gilmore Girls set & the Friends (coffee house) and Joey's new set.

FYI - you have to give the lanyards back at the end Would've been a nice souvenier.

I haven't taken the tour, but did have to go to Warner Bros. for business a few times. Once, I got to park right under the water tower. All I could think of was what Yakko, Wakko and Dot were probably gonna do to my car while I was away.
