Has Anyone Ever Sold a Confirmed Cruise Reservation

I have an Alaskan cruise booked for August. We are considering not going now for financial reasons and was wondering if anyone ever sold their confirmed reservation rather than getting the points back in reservation points. I am not even sure if this is allowable but just thought I would check.

This is not allowed by Disney Cruise Line. They will not allow the lead name to be changed on any cruise reservation, regardless of how you paid for it.

You need to check a little further. They will not allow the LEAD name to be booked, but if you had a room for 4 booked, you might could sell the reservation to a party of 2 or 3 and change the remaining names. This happened to a friend of mine on a different cruise line who waited too late to cancel without full penalty. So, they sold the remaining spaces and the lead person just didn't show up. Hope that makes sense...
