Has anyone ever purchased the Astro Orbiter spinning toy?

One time my family and I purchased the Astro Orbiter spinning toy at the Once Upon A Toy store in Downtown Disney Marketplace, however when we tried to turn it on once we got home it never worked. So a few months later on our next vacation to WDW we returned it. Anyway I am wondering has anyone here ever purchased it and if you did was it working?

My family and I once purchased a mini version of the Astro Orbiter which spins around and has mini Disney characters that go into them. However after we put the right batteries in it never worked. So I hope that clears things up for you?

I have that one! I only set it up around the holidays, but it works for me. I have just about all of the monorail set accessories. They don't have the best build quality, so I'm not surprised to hear you are having some problems. That line of merch seems to be disappearing from WDW. They are still selling the monorails though. Maybe they will improve the accessories they sell.
